This week I've kept myself busy with a painting to decorate Cain's room. I fell in love with the painting on Pinterest, but couldn’t find it for an affordable price. So, I decided to let my creative juices flow, and paint it myself. Boy, did I get myself in over my head. It's a simple piece, but considering I don’t have a single creative or artistic bone in my body, it was challenging. Although it took me three days to complete, I must say I'm extremely proud of my first painting endeavor. Not only did it make this week go by faster but I found the perfect way to personalize Cain's room and add a little touch of mom. I seriously think I've unleashed the DIY beast within, because I already have a couple other projects lined up!
