Mother's Day 2012

Mother’s Day was awesome! Not only did we spend quality time with our families, but I woke up pleasantly surprised to find several texts wishing me a Happy Mother’s Day. My cousin even called asking if it was “okay” for him to wish me a Happy Mother’s Day, and to tell me for the millionth time how proud he is of me (which I’ll probably never get tired of hearing). It’s hard to believe that this time next year, we’ll be celebrating with our little one!

{Week 13}

 Our day was spent at Coronado with my parents where we enjoyed a nice lunch at Miguel’s and soaked up the beautiful S.D. weather. My sister surprised me with a cute baby bib that said, “Mommy loves me”, totally melted my heart! I’d like to say it was the first baby gift we’ve received, but my friend Christina beat her to the punch right when she heard we were pregnant. We’re definitely not the only ones excited for this baby, that’s for sure. We got desert to-go and continued the festivities at home with some wine and raspberry tea for me to start strengthening that uterus!
